Starting over
No doubt you’re noticing a few obvious changes around here and a severe lack of content.
Well, after eight years of managing this site with twelve different scripts written in a variety of languages ranging from simple SSI to Perl to PHP, I decided it was time to move to a single framework. Hopefully, this will remove the headache of something on the site breaking every time my host does a software update. WordPress is probably the best-supported script out there, and it seems to be ideal for managing the content, especially with the advent of tag searching and other cool stuff.
Of course, I’d be remiss to explain the severe lack of updates this year. If you remember, there hasn’t been anything new published since around March or so. Without going into too-much-information territory, I had a medical condition develop. Unfortunately, it’s one that never really goes away, and it’s had a severe effect on my mental state, and by proxy, my libido. To say it’s difficult to create sexually-explicit content when you’re more or less “dead” is an understatement.
Anyway, things seem to be improving for the moment. I can’t promise weekly or even monthly updates any more. Doing so would be irresponsible at best, and making me a liar, at worst.
Right now, I’m simply going to repost the original content in an updated format. The stories will reappear as they were. The pictures I’m going to try something new on, namely adding a small bit of text explaining how the unfortunate heroine found herself in such a predicament.
You’ll probably notice some radical cosmetic changes around here in the next few weeks while I tweak the template, add and remove stuff, and do other maintenance typical of a new site. Pardon my dust.
So, in all sincerity, thank you for continuing to support this site through its many incarnations, ups, downs, and everything in between. Have a happy holiday season, and stay tuned for the reappearing stuff.
