HISTORY: Mizuko Asahina grew up in the gangs of New York. When she heard the stories about Imperator and his plans for world conquest, she used every contact she had to locate his whereabouts.
      Showing up at one of Imperator's hideouts, Mizuko knocked on the front door. Despite being physically threatened by Violet Outburst, she insisted on meeting with Imperator who admired the girl's tenacity.
      He agreed to give her superhuman abilities, but she had to subject herself to a new incarnation of the empowerment process, which was more intense, painful, and risky than previous versions. She accepted the terms and managed to survive the process, gaining her new energy-draining powers.
