Call For Submissions

Something I want to add to this site is some original artwork, more/better photomanipulations, stories, etc. Unfortunately, I can't draw worth diddly, unless you want the Bondage Adventures of Stick Figure Lass. If any of you have any of these talents and would like to make contributions, I'd love to have them.

I want to be honest with you up front. Currently, anything you donate will be unpaid. I don't have a whole lot of money to dump into this site, so I'll have to reimburse you either with return links, ad space, or I'd be willing to trade for comparable programming services. I am a full-time web developer/programmer by trade with skills in ASP, CGI, HTML, Perl, Visual Basic, and other languages. You can see my full resume at this site. Of course, there are a couple of basic guidelines:

Number one, submit your own work, not someone else's. This shouldn't need to be said, but just in case...

In order to avoid the copyright police, please use the MyPrisoner.com characters, and not copyrighted characters from DC, Marvel, or any of the other established companies. If you'd like to include your own characters, however, that's your decision to make.

Now that this site has been moved over to an adult host, most anything goes. However, every submission must contain only LEGAL material. This means no child pornography, beastiality, and no snuff. I'm also not a big fan of strangulation, but that will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

All artwork submissions need to be in .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG format, and I'd really appreciate it if you kept them under 200 Kb each (some of us poor saps are still on modem connections). If you don't have access to a scanner, you can snail mail me the pictures, just include return postage if you'd like your artwork back. E-mail me, and I'll send you the address.

Story submissions should be in plain text (.TXT), Rich Text Format (.RTF), or Microsoft Word (.DOC) format, or just copy the story text into your E-mail.

Please include your name/alias and any contact information (E-mail, Website, Mailing address, ICQ ID, etc.) you'd like posted alongside the credit for your work. Please indicate if you'd like your E-mail address printed or not. Otherwise, I'll assume you don't. I recommend something similar to the following:

Artwork by John Doe of JohnDoeArt.com. JohnDoeArt.com features artwork and stories that relate to damsels in distress. John is available for commission work with rates starting at $20 per piece. E-mail john@johndoeart.com for an estimate or further information.

Ultimately, I'm the judge on whether or not your work gets posted on here. So if I turn you down, it's nothing personal; I just don't need the feds knocking on my door or my host shutting the site down. If you have any questions or want to discuss a submission before you begin, don't hesitate to E-mail me.
